The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce is a private, not-for-profit organization established in 1900 to support business in Berkeley. The Chamber is not supported by any taxes, and members’ dues are a tax-deductible business expense.
Lafayette Chamber
The Chamber is a volunteer based organization serving the interests of the business community and with an ongoing commitment to the City of Lafayette. In 1947 a group of concerned business persons launched the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. The stated mission of the organization was: “To promote and maintain a healthy business climate and to preserve and enhance the quality of life in Lafayette.”
Better Business Bureau (BBB)
BBB sees trust as a function of two primary factors – integrity and performance. Integrity includes respect, ethics and intent. Performance speaks to a business’s track record of delivering results in accordance with BBB standards and/or addressing customer concerns in a timely, satisfactory manner.
